Even in this era of globalisation, Martins Rubber still offers a Trade Counter service which many of our customers value, typically in those industries where a "while-you-wait" service is essential. From our beginnings as a Shop next door in Bernard Street 150 years ago, selling rubberised waterproofing products, victorian medical accessories, and general rubber goods, our trade counter has always offered a knowledgeable, friendly service backed up by extensive material stocks.

These days, our Trade Counter customers are often Plant and Hydraulic engineers, who value our "while-you-wait" seals machining service, invaluable for geting leaking rams and cylinders back into action as soon as possible. Other customers include those looking for off the shelf rubber O Rings, gasket and sheet materials cut to size, rubber extrusions and suitable adhesives, or specific advice being sought on how to repair or replace an infinite variety of worn out or obsolete industrial rubber components.
