These headrests, used on Tinsley Opthalmic equipment, are ideal to be manufactured in polyurethane foam integral skin material, providing a comfortable cushioning effect for the user, a cleanable surface and a colour matched to the branding of the machine.

Teal Patents (http://www.tealwash.com/), one of our long-running customers, produces mobile hygiene units; we supply neoprene grommets and pads and EPDM washers for use on their units.

Our Rigid Polyurethane Foam is used on a range of low volume specialist Instrument and Equipment enclosures to provide a moulded look to grab handles and cooling vent covers without the expense or complication of plastic injection moulding. These components are also then painted in corporate colours to provide a high quality aesthetic appearance in keeping with the quality of the equipment involved.

Another unusual application for our Rigid Foam is for the production of medical Models such as Bones, where the properties of the foam are engineered to replicate the weight and feel of organic Bones, such that student surgeons can familiarise themselves with various techniques prior to using organic samples. Soft touch replica parts are also manufactured, either with visco elastic foam or very soft cast silicone to simulate the feel of natural skin.
