Our polyurethane foam moulding facilities lend themselves very well to the disabilities sector of the medical market. The material can be adjusted to provide either a soft, pliable cushion effect, or a hard surface similar to a plastic finish, by adjusting the foam density. In general terms, the finish is wipe-clean, can be used in- or out of-doors and can be colour-matched to the rest of the product, with the option of textured finishes. Many of the products we manufacture for this industry go into patient-handling equipment such as wheelchairs, lifting equipment and surgical beds, specifically including head rests, foot rests, hoist bars, cot sides and cushion foams.

We also supply components into both the manufacture and field service end of the disability equipment market, such as protective cowls, end caps, bumper pads, which can be moulded, punched or turned dependant on the individual requirements.
