Engineering Plastics Products
Martin's Rubber has supplied machined industrial rubber articles, including engineered plastics, for many years. These are used for both custom and standard installations, in a wide range of materials and constructions to suit every application.
We have facilities for grinding and machining rubber, CNC turning and milling engineering plastics such as nylon, acetal (Delrin/POM) Torlon®, PEEK®, PTFE, polyurethane, GRP resins, etc. We have the capability to turn components up to 1m diameter, or to mill components up to 1000 x 750 x 500mm with 5-axis cababilities. Our facilities regularly produce standard parts such as hydraulic seals and wear rings, bearing blocks and rollers. But we also produce a wide range of bespoke parts to customer specification, and are able to accept files in any of the principle CAD formats. In some cases, we have machined bespoke engineered plastics parts and bonded them to a rubber moulding to provide a complete solution for the customer - a good example of our one-stop-shop capability.
Our technical staff are always available to discuss individual challenges a customer may be facing, and our long manufacturing experience and range of facilities mean we are ideally placed to solve most problems.
