Rubber Seals

Rubber Moulding

Where performance counts, don’t make your seals an afterthought

A seal is either used to prevent two elements from coming apart or to prevent anything passing between them.

Seals

It may be that the best solution is a stand-alone moulding or a machined polyurethane u-seal, or it might be better to produce a dual material part with PTFE bonded directly to rubber, to ensure a low-friction seal which is still compliant as needed.

We offer a range of fluid power sealing solutions, with the option to prototype a seal by machining it in an engineering plastic, and then taking it to a moulded option once proven.

With so many manufacture and material options available, we can provide the technical solution to fulfill your requirements – including providing FEA analysis to establish how the seal will likely function and wear.

Chemical Compatibility and Physical Properties Chart

To better understand which materials might be suitable for your application, please take a look at our chemical compatibility chart – or better still, get in touch.

*These ratings are only a guide to the general suitability of each Polymer. Properties can be modified by specific formulation.
